Greetings!
It has been 2 years since a national sport pylon competition was held. Due to the tight schedule of the PNATS (Philippine National Aeromodellers Tournament), organizers can no longer fit in this sport as part of the nationals.
In order to satisfy the clamor for this sport, representatives from various national groups have agreed in promoting Sport Pylon Racing by holding a series of local races in preparation for a national tournament.
It is projected that there will be 4 pylon racing classes, namely;
1. SPEC 25 - Any Sport 25 engine / Spec. Corruplast 25 size airframe.
2. CLUB 46 - Any Sport 46 engine / World Models LA Racer or World Models Sky Raider Mach II
3. Sport Quickie - Any Sport 46 engine / Spec. Quickie 500 size airframe
4. Electric Class - Currently being planned. Kindly wait for updates.
** 10 laps per heat around 2 pylon poles 200 meters apart**
** Fuel will be home brew 0 % nitro, organizer supplied**
** Rules and Regulations will be posted soon**
A Fly-in is scheduled to happen soon to display this high adrenalin and exciting class of aeromodelling sport.
