Glorious Bulacan & Cattle Creek Club
Bulacan's name is believed to have been derived from the word "Bulak-lakan" - or place where flowers bloom. This due to the fertile soil, beautiful women, poetry & art that comes from this part of the country. Some argue that the province takes its name after "Bulak" or cotton which used to grow abundtantly in the region.

Art & beauty being prolific, it should then be no surprise that Bulacan is the seat of passion in the country. It is the birthlace of democracy in Asia.
Bulacan is traditionally known as the land of the "Makatas" - Orators well-versed in the profound vernacular & superb public-speaking skills.
Philippine history marks the importance of Biak na Bato (Split Stone), the site where Filipino revolutionaries - Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo & Pedro Paterno signed the Malolos Constitution. It was also a hideout for Katipuneros.
The crowning glory of Bulacan is Malolos & its two historic churches - the Malolos Church and Barasoain Church. It is likewise the Capital of the First Philippine Republic circa 1898.
Philippine History is laden with heroes & patriots - many of whom hail from Bulacan. Among these are: Marcelo H. del Pilar, Gen. Gregorio del Pilar, Mariano Ponce, Trinidad Tecson, Gen. Isidoro Torres and Maximo Viola.
